Re-Spin is operated by KomoHouse AS, a company registered in Norway. KomoHouse AS is the data controller for personal data processed through Re-Spin. Contact: hello@re-spin.app

Account data: email address, display name, and profile photo.

Location data: approximate or precise GPS location to enable local discovery. You control the precision in your device settings.

Listings: photos, descriptions, and pricing information you submit.

Messages: chat content between buyers and sellers.

Device and usage data: app version, device type, crash logs, and basic diagnostics.

Payment data: subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google via RevenueCat. We do not store card numbers or payment details.

We use your data to provide and improve the Re-Spin service: matching you with nearby records, enabling messaging between buyers and sellers, processing subscriptions, preventing fraud, and sending service-related communications. We send marketing emails only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Performance of a contract — providing the app service you signed up for.

Your consent — location access, marketing emails. Withdrawable at any time.

Legitimate interest — fraud prevention, platform security, crash reporting.

We share data with the following processors only to the extent necessary:

Supabase (supabase.com) — database and authentication, EU region.

RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) — subscription management.

Sentry (sentry.io) — crash reporting and error monitoring.

Mailchimp / Intuit (mailchimp.com) — email communications.

Apple / Google — in-app purchase processing.

Discogs (discogs.com) — record metadata lookup (read-only, no personal data shared).

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Photos from deleted listings are removed within 30 days. You can delete your account at any time from app settings, which permanently erases your personal data.

Under GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; export your data in a portable format; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@re-spin.app. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of Re-Spin after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
